Nina Squire is a Dorset-based soft pastel artist and experienced art tutor, whose work celebrates the character, beauty and spirit of the British countryside and its animals

Nina has worked professionally for more than 25 years after training at Falmouth University in Illustration. She is best known for her highly detailed pet portraits of dogs, horses and other animals, as well as landscapes, seascapes and countryside subjects inspired by the South West.

Nina’s work is held in private collections throughout the UK and internationally, including the USA and Japan. She has served for many years as Artist in Residence for the Royal Artillery Point-to-Point at Larkhill and also worked with the King’s Troop, Royal Horse Artillery, including an appointment as Artist in Residence at the Royal Windsor Horse Show. She is an Associate Artist with Unison Colour, contributor to Painters Online and Jacksons Art, and visiting tutor at St Ives School of Painting.
